PILATES (Liz Downes)
Wednesdays 10.00am to 11.00am
This is a mixed ability drop-in class suitable for newcomers to Pilates
and those already experienced in the Pilates method. The class follows
the moves devised by Joseph Pilates and includes modifications and
adaptations to suit the needs of the individual. The class encourages
correct postural alignment whilst developing the strength of the core
muscles that help to support the lower back. The whole body is worked
to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and mobilise the joints. It
is important to inform Liz of any health-related issues at your first
session. Please wear comfortable, loose clothes, socks or bare feet and
bring a mat if you have one.
COST: £5 payable on the day

Instructor - Liz Downes
LIZ DOWNES BEd Hons / NVQ Level 3 – Fitness Instruction/Pilates. Liz
teaches at most of the local health clubs. She specialises in Pilates
and Dance-based fitness classes including Salsa Aerobics, ZUMBA and
Body Jam. She firmly believes that fitness should be fun and available
to all and that by working supportively and non-competitively in a
group fitness environment, we can have the confidence to challenge

ZUMBA! Mondays 6.00pm to 6.45pm Zumba!...Come
and join the party! Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and
easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that
will blow you away. Zumba combines high energy and motivating music
with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to
dance away their worries! Zumba is a 'feel-happy' workout that is great
for both the body and the mind! Give it a go!!!
For ages 14 and above. Cost £4.00 a class. About the
Instructor - Becky Daley Becky has been a fitness instructor for over 7 years
and works in gyms and health clubs in West Sussex. Becky teaches a variety of
different classes from dance based like Zumba, BodyJam, Cheerleading and Salsa
to Step, BodyCombat and Legs Bums and Tums! Becky has alot of passion for what
she does and loves helping people achieve their goals whilst hoping they have
